Experienced Automotive Mechanic/Technician
CT Auto Repair & Express Lube is seeking to hire an experienced auto Mechanic/Technician with a wide range of skills.
Candidates should be well versed in general automotive services and repair. Great potential for career advancement. Reporting to the Shop Manager, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles in accordance with industry and brand standards.
Job Responsibilities:

Perform work as described on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with industry and brand standards

Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions, and recommend/perform appropriate repairs
-
Communicate with the Shop Manager to obtain needed parts
-
Notify Shop Manager immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined on repair order is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed by the time promised

Clearly and accurately document all work performed
-
Road test vehicles as required
-
Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes

Follow all shop safety rules and industry safety practices

Requirements:

Must have prior automotive technician/mechanic experience
-
Ability to read and comprehend complex technical information
-
Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
-
Manual dexterity (including but not limited to ability to stand, reach, squat, and lift for most of the work day)

Must have own tools
-
Valid drivers license
-
Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service, working knowledge of shop equipment, diagnostic equipment, A/C equipment, computer repair software

Experienced Automotive Lube Technician
CT Auto Repair & Express Lube is seeking to hire an experienced Automotive Lube Technician with a wide range of skills.

Candidates must possess limited knowledge and skills to perform minor repairs and maintenance of automotive vehicles, to include oil and filter changes on a regular basis. Ability to properly and safely utilize appropriate automotive equipment as needed. We are seeking a professional with a great attitude and the drive to succeed. Job Responsibilities:

Perform express lube/oil change services

Ability to accurately perform minor vehicle maintenance and repairs to include windshield wipers, oil and filter changes, air/cabin filter replacements and any light vehicle maintenance

Utilize proper shop equipment and tools

Safely perform maintenance and service repair

Execute these expectations in a timely manner with great attention to detail
